Condemned by the congregation,
For choosing a path unwise.
Trialed for treason,
Though for the same crime, they cry.

The church family will cast the first stones.
They'll throw with such force,
You’ll fall to the ground.
Yet, they'll run right over you
And show no remorse,
Because of the sin they've found.

Trampled like a rose,
For making a tricky decision.
Shunned and shattered,
Atheism caused by their division.

The church family will cast the first stones.
Without facing their guilt.
And they'll crumble in the sand.
Yet, they had to mock you,
destroying the faith you've built,
pushing you from the Promised Land.
