A
Letter to You, O God All Powerful This isn't really a story. . . it's just something I wrote during a troubled time. . . . Inspired by God and Frank Peretti. Tell me what you think about it?: The clashing of swords, the battle scream. Fiery reptiles hurtling curses at their foes. Brilliant white marvels of beauty are fighting in silence, almost smiling. A huge explosion - a red thing of evil falling like a red lightning bolt to the ground, and then, plunging below the ground, his scream echoing and resounding everywhere. And, in the midst of it all, one form is kneeling, his face to the ground, his hands clasped violently. . . oblivious to it all. He is different than the rest. Not brilliant-white, not fiery red. Just. . . there. Tears stream down his face and he cries out to his God in a broken voice. Help me God, Help me. Give me strength. I need it Lord. Your Will prevail. . . Small and insignifigant the lone figure seems, yet his words empower the white, and the fire begins to retreat, screaming and moaning every step backwards. One by one, blasting explosions send the creatures below the Earth with a horrible cry of anguish and anger. The evil ones race off in a full retreat, the brilliant figures directly after them. But one of the brilliant creatures stops, and turning, flies back to the small man that now lies prostrate upon the ground. The angel rests his hands on the man’s shoulders and speaks softly to him. Slowly, the tears subside, and the man picks himself up. Standing on shaky legs, the man begins to walk off, whispering to the Lord God Almighty-Unending. Thank You God, thank You, my Lord and my Saviour. . . A letter to You, O God All
