Before beginning this study I had read the book of Amos but had never really studied it. I found this to be an excellent study and learned a ton from it. My favorite part of this series is the notes section included in each week’s focus. I have found that I learn so much from these additional notes included at the end of the week. Through this study the reader learns that though people may be prosperous and well off as were the people of Israel in Amos’s time it does not mean we are not still sinning. This lesson reminds the reader to seek God and His blessing as God’s message is delivered once again through the prophet Amos and author Marie Dinnen. This is a great study for use independently or in a small group setting. All will benefit from taking the journey through Amos with author Marie Dinnen.
