Through hearing other people pray or through reading the prayers of others we learn a lot about how we ourselves wish to pray. Too many times I have said, “Wow! I wish I was as passionate as so and so” or “I will I could pray such eloquent prayers..” I love to read the prayers or others, especially when the person who I am reading has had such an influence on the Kingdom of God. I was inspired by reading the prayers of great evangelist and preach Charles Spurgeon. I loved the opportunity to look in to the heart of this man of God through reading his prayers. I came away from the book with a renewed desire to become a prayer warrior equipped with new strategies for prayer. This book was wonderfully organized and I was glad I had been given the opportunity to read through it. I learned a lot about how to pray through examining the eloquent prayers of Mr. Spurgeon. This is a wonderful book to read if you wish to improve your own prayer life.
