The Myth of the Perfect Mother Rethinking the Spirituality of Women
Being a mom now I have found myself striving to be good at it. I have found myself comparing my own parenting skills to that of my mom and my grandma, getting almost angry when I have felt that I was less than perfect, sub par to what they had been as mothers. Thankfully my mom has told me not to do this, that we live in different times and that she does not understand how I do it all. So I was excited about this book. I needed to read it so that I could be set free from the lies and ideals I had fed myself again and again and again. I found the words to be liberating. The style was smooth, flowing from page to page seamlessly. The book was entertaining as well as informative providing a massive amount of information for the reader. Within this book lies the truth about a mother. It is a liberating book, providing readers with the reality of motherhood today. Every Christian should read this book, not just mothers. It will show you mothers in a whole new light. It is a wonderful book and very well done. Submit a review by clicking here.
