CS: What is the main focus in your ministry? Teens? The lost? The hurting? Why did you decide up on this as a focus?

Eddy: My ministry has led me into all kinds of environments. I never made a conscious effort to focus on any one group. I've always trusted in the Lord... that He'd never lead me into anything I couldn't handle.

CS: Do you ever worry about getting caught up in the world of show biz? That success will change you?

Eddy: I find it helpful every once in a while to remember what my job (as a child of God) is ... and I can never have enough people praying for me.

CS: What kind of relationship do you maintain with your audiences? Do you fellowship with them? Or do you remain distant as the performer?

Eddy: Whenever possible I try to get to know my audience. I personally stay in touch with everyone who purchases any Eddy Mann recordings. I love answering emails.

CS: If you could meet any one person, past, present or future, who would you meet? Why would you choose that person? What would you ask them?

Eddy: Lets look beyond Jesus, ... if that's possible. He'd have to be number one. But I just finished a book about David. There's an interesting character. Imagine being God's chosen king ... and you're still a teenager. Awesome!

CS: Could you please share a short testimony?

Eddy: I'm currently vacationing in Florida with my family. Four weeks ago as we were in the middle of our trip down here. Our daughter of nine, became ill in the car. This was emergency room ill, and I'm on a major highway in the state of Georgia, 800 miles from home. The map said we had another fifteen miles to go just to find an exit, ... let alone a hospital. I turned to prayer, asking the Lord for an answer, and as I looked ahead, almost instantly, I saw an exit sign, ... one that wasn't on the map. And as we drove off the exit there was a sign for a hospital a mile away.

My daughter's had a wonderful vacation. Personally I'm kind of interested in the drive home, ... and one particular exit. I live a blessed life, and I know the Lord's never far away ... and He does answer prayer.

CS: Do you make it a goal to use your music to minister to people? Or do you just write for the sake of writing and performing?

Eddy: I've found that I need to be creative. I write on a daily basis. Being a child of God, ... THE CREATOR, ... it's only natural to want to be creative.

CS: What is the message you are trying to get across with your music?

Eddy: Love one another, ... be accountable!

CS: Do you write your own music? Where do you get ideas for your music?

Eddy: I write all of my music. ... I wake up each day and look at God's beauty ... there's a lot of inspiration there. ... Truthfully, I get ideas from the strangest places, they come from everywhere.

CS: How would you describe your music style?

Eddy: A kind of gumbo! ... I grew up listening to all kinds of music and it's surfaces in my writing. It's confusing for those who need to categorize. No one song defines what I'm about musically.

CS: Do you have an accountability partner or prayer partner to keep you encouraged and uplifted?

Eddy: Great question! ... I think everyone, regardless of age or occupation, would gain from an accountability partner or prayer partner. I've currently just been introduced to an amazing vessel of God. And I'm looking forward to
meeting with him on a weekly basis.

CS: Do you sing anywhere else just for fun? Like maybe in the shower or while cleaning or driving, etc. And if you do, do you sing your own music or someone else's?

Eddy: I sing when inspired, ... which could be anytime, anywhere. I don't sing my own stuff though. With rehearsals and performances I usually need some separation from them.

CS: What is the latest news? Any new CD's to be released soon?

Eddy: I have a Live CD in the can. It's in a studio waiting to be mixed. I hope to get to that in August. I also have a Christmas CD written. If it's His will, it'll be available by December.

CS: Do you have any advice to give to the youth of our world?

Eddy: The Lord speaks through the parable of your life ... live a good message!
