CS: How would you describe your musical style?

CC: I always just try to be free and passionate. Style wise, man...it has changed over the years. I used to sing very soulfully, especially for a white boy. Then I started leaning a bit more towards an edgier sound, more rock. Now I find myself with this desire to do something very rootsy/Americana/folk/country. At the end of the day, I'm a singer a vocalist who God has blessed with the ability to interpret a song.

CS: Are you involved in your own home church? What role do you have there?

CC:  Yes, I serve at TLC Church here in Memphis, (www.tlcmemphis.com). I am the worship pastor there. I know that I am blessed to be in this place of leadership/servant hood.

CS: Do you find it strange to hear yourself singing on the radio or to see yourself in a video?

CC: Well...it used to be strange. Now I'm used to it. In all reality, I'd rather not hear or see myself. It can be a bit self-consuming.

CS: What is the latest news? When will your music be released on CD?

CC:  My latest CD is titled ETERNITY WITH YOU/LIVE WORSHIP. I hope to have the rootsy/Americana/folk/country type CD done and available early 2006.

CS: Do you have any advice to give to the youth of out world?

CC:  JESUS CHRIST IS LORD OF ALL! This world won't tell you much about him. Mostly you'll hear about famous people, pleasures, money, and sex. But I challenge young people to grope through the darkness of this fallen world and grab hold of God and His perfect plan for their life. He is the only path to peace, success, salvation and one day.... heaven.

CS: What is the main focus in your ministry? Teens? The lost? The hurting?

CC: The main focus of my ministry is aimed squarely at the Christian home. Why, because too many Christian homes are a mess. They resemble homes that are non-Christian. They watch the same TV shows, movies, listen to the same music, and go to the same websites. They have no filter of what they are letting in. I know this because that's how my wife, Renee, and me operated for years. We were just bent on being cool and having fun. Then in 1998, God graciously listened to our prayer for forgiveness and we began walking in a different way with Him as our guide. From this rededication sprang up our ministry called HolyHomes. Through this also came our new book I SURRENDER ALL: REBUILDING A MARIAGE BROKEN BY PORNOGRAPHY. It's an honest testimony of God's grace in our life.
