Ok so here is the answers to all of your questions, hope you like them. By the way my name is OX I am the drummer for Barjudah.

CS: What kind of equipment do you use?

OX: I have a Tama rockstar custom set with Zildjian cymbals. As far as the guitar players go I think that Tylor uses a Peavey bass and a hartke cabinet. Doug uses a Taylor Acoustic and an original 67 Gibson electric through a Johnson amp on a Marshal half stack. Caleb uses a Epiphone Les Paul and a Create amp w/ a Carvin half stack. Jeriah uses a Taylor through a Beringer amp. I think that is most of the major equipment.

CS: What is the main focus in your ministry? Teens? The lost? The hurting? Why did you decide up on this as a focus?

OX: Our focus is spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to who ever we play for it doesn't matter who that is. We decided to do that because if that is not your focus what are you playing for?

CS: What does your groups name mean?

OX: Barjudah is Hebrew and it means Son of Praise.

CS: Where did you come up with it?

OX: I don't really know that was the name when I joined the group. I know that we all were on woship teams at our churches. I don't know the original inspiration behind it.

CS: Where do you see the band in five years? Ten? The future?

OX: Well, I am the dreamer of the group so I would love to see the band touring full time in five years and in ten. as far as the long future that all depends upon where God leads us.

CS: Do you ever worry about getting caught up in the world of show biz? That success will change your group?

OX: I don't worry too much about that because we all have wives and other family that will smack us in line if we decide to get a big head. Our focus is spreading the word and if that changes then we are doing the wrong thing. Nothing we accomplish is done by our strength so like Paul says we can only boast in Christ our Savior.

CS: What kind of relationship do you maintain with your audiences? Do you fellowship with them? Or do you remain distant as the performer?

OX: We love to have as much interaction with them as we can. We realize that our ministry is primarily a seed-planting ministry, but we are always looking to lead someone to Christ or to answer questions. Besides talking to people at our shows we also have a message board on our website where we keep in contact with our fans.

CS: How would you describe your music style?

OX: Well that’s a tough one. I would say that we are alternative Rock.

CS: Who, or what, are your biggest musical influences?

OX: Counting Crows, Pillar, Taking Back Sunday, Dashboard Confessional, Uncommonsence, and LoytR.

CS: Are you involved in any other ministries?

OX: No, Barjudah is our focus. We have been in the past though

CS: How much time do you spend practicing as a group? How much time do you practice individually?

OX: We practice once a week mostly sometimes twice a week. Those practices are usually about 2 hours long. Individually I can't speak for everyone I practice about three hours a week on my own.

CS: Does the group come together for prayer at times other than concerts and ministry opportunities?

OX: Yes, we usually pray after each practice.

CS: Have you always had a desire to be in a group like this?

OX: Yes, I have always loved music and playing the drums. I have had this dream for as long as I can remember.

CS: What is the latest news on your group? Any new CD's to be released soon?

OX: We just recently released our third CD. It is called Imperfect@best.

CS: What's the weirdest thing that's ever happened at one of your concerts?

OX: Caleb once drop kicked a microphone stand, then there was the game antler toss, and attacked by flying cockroaches.

CS: What's a band could you not live without?

OX: I don't know, there are many that influence us.

CS: What are your favorite bible verses?

OX: Mine is Psalm 37:4. I don't know what everyone else is.

CS: Do you have any advice for the youth of today?

OX: DON'T BELIEVE THE LIES THE THE WORLD TELLS!!!

CS: What people have influenced you(non-musicians)?

OX: My dad, grandpa, My roommates in college and many college professors

CS: What's one tv show you can't live without?

OX: Malcom in the Middle. That show is funny.
